3 California gang members arrested in drug trafficking sting at Reno-area hotel, police say

A drug and sex trafficking sting last week led to the seizure of $25,000 in fentanyl and heroin and the arrest of three California gang members, Reno police said. On Wednesday, Darron Grays, 36, Jerome Tumblin, 31, and Robert Nakooka, 33, were arrested during an operation conducted by the Regional Gang Unit and the Northern Nevada Safe Streets Task Force. All three face charges of conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act, fentanyl trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. The operation seized over 200 grams of fentanyl, 50 grams of heroin and nearly $5,400 in cash, police said. Officers also recovered a person believed to be a victim of sex trafficking, along with two towed vehicles and one retained for seizure proceedings and a handgun.
