2 Sacramento area Walmarts temporarily evacuated after bomb threats

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Two Walmarts, one in the county area and the other in the city of Sacramento, received bomb threats Sunday afternoon.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said the threat was called in around 3:15 p.m. at the Walmart on Gerber Road. No one was hurt, but the store was evacuated. The sheriff’s office sent in bomb dogs to clear the building. As of 4:55 p.m., the Walmart was reopening…
