GUSTINE, Calif. — The Gustine Police Department celebrated its annual departmental awards ceremony on March 20 with a gathering that showcased the dedication and hard work of its officers, civilians, and volunteers.
Held in the presence of Mayor Pat Nagy and Merced County District Attorney Nicole Silveira, the ceremony honored individuals who have gone above and beyond in serving their community.
Police Chief Ruben Chavez praised the exceptional efforts of the department’s personnel, saying, “While we are a smaller police agency, we are staffed with the hardest working and most dedicated police officers, civilians, and volunteers. We cannot accomplish what we do without them. I love this department and community and truly enjoy the support our agency gets from the City and Council.”…
