Modesto’s biggest free crowdsourced concert is coming May 18.
This is truly a special day, with over 60 porches and over 100 bands playing all over town. Best part is you can ride your bike from porch to porch, hang out with your friend, enjoy food trucks and find some new music. Most bands play foran hour so you can catch some variety. Modesto has so much talent and all that is asked of you is: be cool, don’t block streets, tip the musicians and respect the porch host’s homes and yards. This is a special event and we can keep it going if it goes well. So get ready, check the map, plan your stops, or just go random. Don’t forget to cross over Dry Creek and check out the porches in LaLoma. I happen to know that Edgebrook Dr has a good thing going so stop by, bring your chairs and pop-up tent for the park.
