STOCKTON, Calif. — Three inmates at the San Joaquin County Jail were convicted this week of first-degree murder in connection with the June 2021 death of another inmate.
According to the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, three Norteno gang members targeted victim Armando Salgado when he entered the Honor Farm facility.
They asked him about his gang ties and ripped off his shirt to look for tattoos. When he didn’t respond, they punched, stabbed and stomped on him until he was unconscious…
