Stockton man sentenced to over 4 years for firearm possession

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — United States Attorney’s Office officials announced that a 32-year-old Stockton man, Ricardo Sanchez, was sentenced to four years and three months in prison.

Officials say on August 20, 2023, law enforcement found Sanchez with a Springfield Armory Hellcat 9 mm pistol. Sanchez was prohibited from having a firearm due to past felony convictions, including conspiracy and domestic violence.
