Elkhorn Golf Club employee arrested for $147K embezzlement

According to SJCO, an investigation was started by its Property Crimes Detectives, who were able to uncover that about $147,000 was missing in cash from 2022 to 2024.

Throughout the investigation, crews decided that the suspect in the theft was Mykal Parsons, stated SJCO. Parsons was employed as the Gold Professional at Elkhorn Golf Club during the time when the funds were taken.

SJCO stated that an arrest warrant has been issued for Parsons, and on May 8, he was taken into custody by San Joaquin County Property Crimes Detectives…
