The California Highway Patrol described the suspect as a ‘Mario Kart-style’ driver. Mario Kart is a popular racing video game for Nintendo that revolves around go-kart racers, including Super Mario. In the game, drivers weave in and out of lanes, swerve, and violate a variety of traffic laws.
