Stanislaus State goes on lockdown after possible threat, avoid area

Around 5 p.m., TPD announced it was assisting the campus’s law enforcement with a report of a possible threat. It is unclear what the threat is. However, police said the campus is on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.

Additionally, police said no shots have been fired or injuries reported. They advised the public to avoid the area until further notice.
