Man dead after ejection from SUV overturning in Stanislaus County

STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — A man was pronounced dead after authorities found an SUV overturned late Monday morning in Stanislaus County.

Officers found the Toyota SUV overturned after receiving a call around 10:40 a.m. about a crash along Highway 4 east of Dunton Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The site was about 10 and a half miles east of Farmington.

The SUV came to a rest on its roof about 300 feet north of Highway 4, the CHP said. Officers reportedly found the driver, a 28-year-old Sonora man, a short distance from the vehicle, and he died from his injuries at the scene…
