‘Filming in Stockton is a big deal’: Steve Carell HBO series filming at University of the Pacific

On Tuesday, University of the Pacific students walked across campus to their next class.

For some, it was just another summer school day, but for film crews and residents checking out the live set on campus, it was far from an ordinary day at University of the Pacific. On the main quad, in front of the William Knox Holt Memorial Library, a live set was on display, surrounded by the production team and extras waiting for their cue.

Flyers that read “Ludlow College” and a poster with a portrait and the words “For Katie” were seen on the announcements wall just outside Anderson Hall. A Warner Bros. grip truck was seen parked on campus, along with a few Quixote by Sunset Studios trucks on Tuesday, June 10…
