(FOX40.COM) — A man was sentenced on Monday in a shooting that killed one person and injured another in 2022, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office said.
Jeromine Damon was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Both charges carried firearm enhancements.
“This senseless act of violence claimed one life and forever altered another,” said District Attorney Ron Freitas. “Today’s sentence ensures the defendant is held accountable and reinforces our office’s commitment to prosecuting violent crimes to the fullest extent of the law.”…
