Suspects Arrested with Over 10 Pounds of M30 Fentanyl Pills Found in Modesto After Joint Investigation in Stanislaus County

June 21, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that investigators from the Modesto Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a joint investigation into multiple individuals involved in trafficking counterfeit Oxycodone pills—commonly referred to as M30 pills—across Stanislaus County. These pills are often made to look like legitimate prescription medication but are illegally manufactured and laced with fentanyl, a highly potent and deadly synthetic opioid.

On May 29, 2025, investigators executed multiple search warrants throughout the city of Modesto. Arrest warrants were obtained for those identified as responsible, with the total bail amount set at $7,000,000.

As a result of this operation, investigators arrested four individuals and seized more than 10 pounds of M30 fentanyl pills along with over 11 pounds of precursor chemical powder used in their illicit production. One of the suspects was taken into custody in Bakersfield, California, and will be transported back to Stanislaus County to face prosecution…
