A 19-year-old Modesto woman has tragically lost her life following a two-vehicle crash with a big rig in Stanislaus County, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on Saturday morning on a stretch of rural road near the unincorporated community of Grayson, roughly 25 minutes from Modesto.
The collision took place at the intersection of West Grayson Road and Shiloh Road, ABC10 reported. Taking to the road directly into the path of an eastbound big rig, the young woman was driving a 2015 Kia sedan northbound from a driveway entering West Grayson Road.
Upon their arrival shortly after the collision, which was reported to have occurred just after 11 a.m., emergency crews found the sedan and the International big rig with significant damage.
