The Modesto Police Department plans to conduct a driving under the influence (DUI) checkpoint on Friday, June 27, aimed at stopping impaired drivers and promoting road safety.
The checkpoint will operate between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. at an undisclosed location within the city, police said in a statement.
