Stockton gospel concert to benefit community experiencing economic hardship

On June 29, the non-profit organization, Mims Corner, is hosting a benefit concert at Greater Christ Temple Church located at 8800 Thornton Road in Stockton. Funds from the event will go towards buying groceries and gifts for families during the holiday season. Mims Corner set a goal of feeding 500 families through community food boxes at its Thanksgiving and Christmas events. Additionally, they hope to purchase 200 bikes for underprivileged children.

“Your assistance is vital, particularly during this difficult period when children are out of school and families struggle to make ends meet,” Mims Corner said in a press release. “We invite you to purchase a ticket or make a donation.”
