Dive In, Stockton! Weston Ranch High School Pool Opens to the Public This Weekend — And It’s Free!

Just in time for the summer heat, Weston Ranch High School’s swimming pool is officially opening to the public this Saturday, June 28—and admission is completely free for everyone!

Thanks to a new partnership between the City of Stockton and the Manteca Unified School District, families in South Stockton can enjoy a safe, supervised, and much-needed place to splash, swim, and cool off every Saturday and Sunday through July 27.

Pool Details:

  • Open Swim Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Days: Saturdays & Sundays
  • Location: 4606 McCuen Ave., Stockton, CA 95206
  • Admission: FREE for all ages
  • Safety First: Lifeguards on duty at all times

“This partnership is about more than a swimming pool—it’s about equity, safety, and summer fun for everyone,” said a city spokesperson. “We’re proud to work with Manteca Unified to create opportunities for kids to learn swimming skills, families to bond, and neighbors to connect.”

A True Team Effort

The idea sparked from City Council direction to increase access to aquatics programs, and with the support of Lindsay Harris, Coordinator of Community Relations and Engagement at Manteca Unified, the dream became reality.

Not only did the district open the pool gates—they also hosted two lifeguard certification courses, ensuring there were enough trained staff to keep pool-goers safe all summer long.
