(FOX40.COM) — One of Stockton’s original historic parks has closed for a complete renovation, city officials said.
Columbus Park, a 2.3-acre park located at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Worth Street, will receive a number of improvements, including:
- New picnic shelter and play equipment
- Modern restroom facility
- Basketball court with updated lighting
- Landscaping and irrigation system modifications
- Adult fitness area
- Community garden
- Enhanced lighting throughout the park
