In the wake of a robbery that unfolded near Delta Sierra Middle School, Stockton Police Department has reported the arrest of two individuals connected to the May 30 incident. According to a social media post by the department, the crime occurred shortly after a promotional event at the school, with the victims being approached and threatened at gunpoint for their necklaces. Following the robbery, an investigation led to the identification and arrest of 18-year-old Jaylin Rankins and a 16-year-old male, both now facing robbery charges.
The incident, initially reported by the Stockton Police Department on Facebook, involved two suspects approaching the victims as they left the promotion event at the middle school, the suspects demanded the victims’ necklaces with one of them brandishing a handgun; the victims aged 13 and 31 complied, while the 16-year-old managed to escape unharmed.
