Man dies in multi-vehicle Modesto crash

Around 2:20 p.m. on July 19, MPD officers responded to a collision that involved three vehicles. Police said an investigation indicates that the driver was traveling south on Sisk Road at Standiford Avenue when he struck a pole on the center median. After the crash, the vehicle continued into another pole, crossed over the median into the northbound lane of traffic, and struck two vehicles.

According to MPD, one of the drivers, a Modesto man, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Everyone involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the crash. It appears to be medical related. No other injuries were reported…
