‘A great meal for a great cause’: Fat City Brew & BBQ owner battles cancer; fundraiser Friday

For more than 15 years, Stockton native Don King, owner of Fat City Brew & BBQ, has shared his love for barbecue with the Stockton community.

It all started when King and his best friend Noah began smoking ribs, according to the Fat City Brew & BBQ website. In December 2010, he opened a retail store in Marengo Center next to Chuck’s Hamburgers. In December 2014, the business moved to Lincoln Center, where it operated for three years as a barbecue retail and homebrewing shop.
