According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California, Jaime Ornelas, 27, formerly of Modesto, was sentenced on July 18 by the U.S. District Judge Dena Coggins to three years and one month in prison and has been ordered to pay $150,000 in restitution for conspiracy to commit mail fraud arising from fraudulent submitted unemployment insurance benefits.
