Stockton police issue more than 50 citations, arrests for illegal tobacco operations

“This is not a warning – it’s action,” SPD said. “These aggressive inspections are part of a sustained effort to protect our community – especially our youth – from the dangers of tobacco and nicotine products. Violations, including selling to minors, operating without valid licenses, and blatant disregard for local and state tobacco control laws.”

SPD added, “We have zero tolerance for businesses that endanger public help for profit. Retailers who break the law will face fines, license suspension or revocation, and criminal prosecution.”
