‘I have a reliable car and that’s a good thing’: Stockton auto shop helps mom get back on the road

For Olive Arnold and her family, Tuesday was far from an ordinary hot summer day in August.

The Sacramento resident received a refurbished, donated vehicle Tuesday morning, Aug. 12, during a ceremony at Fabian’s Collision Center at 2615 West Lane in Stockton. The giveaway was a partnership between Fabian’s Collision Center, Allstate and United Way of California Capital Region through the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides program.

“Oh, I just love the new car … I’m going to be in it every day,” Arnold told The Record on Tuesday. “I’ll find something to go do.”…
