Stockton: Man Pleads Guilty To Trafficking Over 260 Lbs Of Crystal Meth

A Stockton man pleaded guilty to drug trafficking, US Attorney Eric Grant announced Monday.

Felix Ortiz-Plata, 44, pleaded guilty to the charges after being busted with more than 250 pounds of methamphetamine. A second man, Anuar Castaneda Ortiz, from Sacramento, also pleaded guilty in the case, according to prosecutors.

In December 2022, law enforcement officers stopped Castaneda Ortiz’s vehicle. During a search of the car, they discovered more than 260 pounds of crystal meth packaged in 90 plastic bags on the backseat of his car and in the trunk…
