On Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 4:17 am, Turlock Police Officer Conrad made a traffic stop at W Canal Dr and N Golden State Blvd.
Officer Conrad had spotted a wrong-way driver, facing eastbound in one of the westbound lanes just west of the intersection, stopped at a red traffic signal.
The vehicle’s driver, Gloria Rodriguez, 37, of Modesto, was contacted and identified. Officer Conrad noticed that Rodriguez displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. Rodriguez also admitted to drinking, and when asked on a scale of 0 to 10 how drunk she felt, she replied, “100.” Rodriguez refused to participate in standardized field sobriety tests…
