Stockton families rush to splash pads to beat the heat

(FOX40.COM) — Central Valley residents said that sometimes the heat feels even hotter than what the thermometer shows.

With high temperatures expected again this weekend, Stockton residents are looking for ways to cool off and splash pads seem to be the popular choice on Friday.

At the Weber Point Events Center, visitors can be found enjoying the shade under the trees, picnic tables and plenty of play spaces. For many, the splash pads have become a frequent destination.
