STOCKTON, Calif. — Two homes were damaged in a Sunday afternoon fire inside the gated “The Pointe” community in Stockton’s Brookside neighborhood.
The fire was reported just before 1 p.m. in the 6100 block of Riverbank Circle, according to Stockton Fire Chief Bryan Carr.
“We got a report of a structure fire, of a fence on fire between two structures. We sent a first alarm assignment to the call, which was four engines, two ladder trucks and two battalion chiefs. En route, we got updated information that it was actually exposing into both structures, so we upgraded it to a second alarm,” said Carr. “We got on scene, we had an exterior fire which had gotten into the walls of both structures and got into the attic, so we had working attic fires in two residences.”…
