(FOX40.COM) — With temperatures climbing across the San Joaquin Valley, Lodi Lake became a top destination for families celebrating Labor Day and looking to cool off.
The historic lake is known to many as a magical place where visitors can stroll alongside deer or stop to admire the flowers. On Monday, locals packed picnic tables, fired up barbecues and lined up at the Boathouse to rent kayaks and paddleboards.
