City of Tracy to Begin Construction on Park Improvement Projects

Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy is moving forward with two major park improvement projects: Gretchen Talley Park Phase III and the Clyde Bland Park – BMX Pump Track. Both projects are entering the construction phase following contractor submittals and approvals, with completion anticipated in 2026.

At Clyde Bland Park, the project will include the construction of a new BMX pump track, ADA improvements, replacement of existing sports courts, and the addition of new site furnishings such as benches, a bike repair station, and a drinking fountain. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2026.

At Gretchen Talley Park Phase III, improvements will include new sports courts, pedestrian paths, lighting, outdoor exercise equipment, a dog park, and site furnishings such as benches, picnic tables, and a drinking fountain. The project also includes new landscaping and irrigation throughout the park. Completion is anticipated by Summer 2026.

Construction is expected to begin once the final approvals are complete. Project updates will be shared with the community throughout the process.
