Norberto Celerino of Stockton was identified as the driver of a van that crashed into a tree in Napa County on Sunday, killing six people and injuring two, including himself, authorities said Monday.
Celerino, 53, was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and murder, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Andrew Barclay told the Chronicle. Celerino, who remained hospitalized as of Monday morning, was accused of driving a van that veered off Pope Valley Road and crashed into a tree around 5:50 p.m. Sunday, CHP said.
