Around 5:50 p.m., CHP responded to a single-vehicle crash near 6198 Pope Valley Road in Napa County. The Napa County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene and located a Toyota Sienna minivan off the side of the road with multiple occupants inside.
Missing person case in Vacaville turns into murder investigation
Police said the minivan was traveling southbound on Pope Valley Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the driver allowed the vehicle to leave the roadway, where it subsequently struck a tree. Six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to KRON, law enforcement identified the driver of the Toyota on Monday as Norberto Celerino, 53, of Stockton. Celerino and one other passenger were airlifted to a hospital with major injuries. Police suspect Celerino was under the influence…
