Calif. vice mayor accused of giving $50K to ‘Wild ‘N Out.’ Now he’s suing.

A Stockton city leader and entertainer is asking for more than $25,000 and an apology from the city, alleging that officials damaged his reputation and discriminated against him.

Jason Lee, vice mayor of Stockton and a former reality television personality, was accused by the former city manager of being tied to an unauthorized $50,000 payment made to comedy show “Wild ‘N Out,” emails viewed by SFGATE show.

Lee has previously appeared on the show as a recurring cast member and participated in the live tour version of the show, which was held May 24 at Adventist Health Arena. “Wild ‘N Out” is a long-running, hip-hop-influenced comedy show hosted by television personality Nick Cannon, in which comedians rap battle and improvise against each other…
