Stockton was stirred by an act of bravery that took a violent turn early Wednesday morning. Two 26-year-old men were stabbed after encountering a burglary suspect within a residence on the 1400 block of West Euclid Avenue, as reported by the Stockton Police Department. The incident, which occurred around 2 a.m., led to the arrest of the alleged assailant, 34-year-old Jordan Chavez.
According to ABC10, the victims were attempting to prevent Chavez from escaping the scene when he allegedly stabbed them both. The confrontation unfolded in the Valley Oak District, an area which now has to reckon with this surge of violence.
