Child Passenger Safety Week: Protect Your Child with the Right Car Seat

During Child Passenger Safety Week, ​the Tracy Police Department ​encourages all parents and caregivers to make sure their children are riding safely by using the correct car seats, booster seats and properly fitted seat belts. This annual campaign takes place from September 21-27 and aims to raise awareness about the importance of car seat safety and proper installation.

Every child deserves to travel safely. In recognition of Child Passenger Safety Week, we encourage all parents and caregivers to ensure their children are secured in the appropriate car seats for their age and size, and to verify that those seats are properly installed. Using the correct seat can make all the difference in protecting a child during a crash.
