STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton officials have launched a cleanup effort in the Weston Ranch neighborhood, targeting blight and neglected properties over the next several weeks.
The initiative is taking place in a sliver of neighborhoods on the southern side of Weston Ranch. Code enforcement officers began inspections on Monday in the South Stockton community.
The checks will continue through Wednesday, focusing on issues such as abandoned cars, trash, graffiti, overgrown landscaping, damaged fences and zoning violations. Inspectors are issuing warnings this week, with follow-up inspections scheduled for Oct. 14 that could bring further action…
