STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton police are investigating a double shooting that left a man and woman injured while a baby sat unharmed in their car’s backseat.
The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday on the 3600 block of Sutter Street, near Oak Park, according to the Stockton Police Department. Officers later found the victims’ car along Airport Way near Park Street, about two miles from where they believe the shooting occurred.
Officers said the victims were en route to the hospital when they called 911. According to police, the 22-year-old woman was critically injured, and the 22-year-old man was in stable condition as of Sunday morning. The infant in the backseat was not hurt…
