Five Injured in Overnight Spate of Violence in Stockton, Police Make Multiple Arrests

Stockton experienced a sharp uptick in violence with five people injured in separate shootings and stabbings that took place overnight on Friday, according to reports from local authorities. ABC10 reported that three victims suffered stab wounds, while two were injured by gunfire in incidents scattered across the city, with police confirming multiple arrests related to the stabbing occurrences.

Both victims of the gunfire incidents, men aged 38 and 26 respectively, received hospital treatment for their injuries and are expected to recover fully. The 38-year-old found himself caught in a gunfight that erupted in a business parking lot on West Lane, police described the suspects as men of unknown races, ABC10 relayed. In a separate event, the 26-year-old was shot at while driving near East Fremont Street, with no suspect information made available at this time.

The incidents involving blades were dispersed across the city as well, with the Lakeview District seeing two people stabbed in unrelated events.
