Sacramento Valley Forecast: Breezy, Cooler Days Ahead Through Monday

Sacramento, CA – A sharp cooldown is on the way for Northern California as a Pacific weather system moves inland this week, bringing breezy onshore winds and cooler air to the Sacramento Valley and surrounding areas.

According to the US National Weather Service Sacramento, high temperatures that reached the upper 80s Tuesday will steadily fall through the weekend. By Friday, many valley cities—including Sacramento, Chico, and Modesto—are forecast to top out in the upper 60s to low 70s, with similar conditions expected into early next week.

The agency’s seven-day outlook, issued Tuesday morning, shows temperatures in Sacramento dropping from 88°F on Tuesday to 71°F by Monday, October 13.
