A Modesto man convicted of domestic violence and hit-and-run causing injury faces more than 10 years in prison due to his violent criminal record, according to a Stanislaus County District Attorney Facebook post.
Jerramya Mitchell, 38, was convicted by a jury and his sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 14.
On July 5, Mitchell and his girlfriend of four years were arguing while sitting in her vehicle when Mitchell threw a glass container at her head, striking her and causing her to bleed, the post said.
