American River College’s women’s volleyball lost at home against the San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs on Oct. 10. After a tough battle by ARC and relentless offense from the Mustangs, the Beavers lost 1-3.
The first set began with a strong start from the Mustangs, with SJDC immediately getting points on the board. However, ARC started building up momentum and won the set 25-15 due to strong attacks from their outsides and impressive defensive play. Stand out players were outsides, Aria Woltz and Cyana Mulitalo, helping their team out on the offensive and defensive end of play.
