Stockton, CA (October 19, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck caused injuries on I-5 in Stockton Sunday evening, October 19. The collision occurred on the northbound lanes near the Benjamin Holt Drive on-ramp. Reports from the California Highway Patrol indicate that a dark-colored sedan collided with the rear of a big rig, leaving the sedan with major front-end damage. The crash blocked multiple lanes and significantly slowed traffic in the area. Emergency responders, including Stockton Fire Department and paramedics, arrived at the scene and provided care to at least one injured motorist. That individual was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Tow trucks were dispatched to clear both the heavily damaged sedan and the semi-truck from the roadway. Authorities continue to investigate the events leading up to the crash and have not yet determined the underlying cause….
