California’s city of Stockton was shaken over the weekend when Mayor Christina Fugazi’s home was struck by gunfire in what police described as a gang-related incident. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday, leaving the mayor and her boyfriend unharmed but deeply unsettled. Authorities have confirmed two nearby victims and one suspect in custody as the investigation unfolds.

Gunfire Strikes Mayor’s Home
Mayor Christina Fugazi told KCRA that her residence was hit by gunfire early Saturday morning. While she didn’t hear the shots herself, her boyfriend, Tremaine Manning, did and later discovered a bullet lodged in a bedroom wall. Fugazi confirmed to ABC 10 that both were safe but admitted they were “shaken up a little” by the ordeal.

Police Confirm Gang Connection
