Year-Long Closure of International Parkway in Tracy Begins November 10: Local Detours Announced

A section of International Parkway in Tracy, California, will close for about one year starting November 10, 2025. The closure is for the construction of a new bridge over the Delta Mendota Canal. The affected area is between Berkeley Road and Promontory Parkway in the International Park of Commerce. The closure is expected to last until August 2026. Traffic will be detoured via Schulte Road, Hansen Road, and Promontory Parkway. Electronic signs and notifications will inform drivers and businesses before the closure.

The Tracy City Council approved a full closure to allow the contractor to finish the bridge about six months earlier than planned. This approach is also intended to improve safety for workers and drivers and to help meet federal grant deadlines.
