In a sizable bust, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office reported the recovery of stolen goods estimated to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The merchandise, previously reported missing in transit to an Amazon distribution center, consisted of around 25 pallets valued at nearly $400,000. The investigation involved the Sheriff’s Office General Crimes Unit (GCU), which honed in on the disappearance of $500,000 worth of goods bound for California from the East Coast.
