Stanislaus County Sheriff Recovers $400K in Stolen Goods, Two Men from Turlock and Modesto Charged

In a sizable bust, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office reported the recovery of stolen goods estimated to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The merchandise, previously reported missing in transit to an Amazon distribution center, consisted of around 25 pallets valued at nearly $400,000. In an operation that cut short a potentially larger criminal enterprise, Sheriff’s detectives served three search warrants, leading to the recovery of the goods and the arrest of two individuals.

The investigation involved the Sheriff’s Office General Crimes Unit (GCU), which honed in on the disappearance of $500,000 worth of goods bound for California from the East Coast. According to a social media post by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, the two suspects, identified as 58-year-old Ravinder Singh of Turlock and 36-year-old Nepal Singh of Modesto, were nabbed and charged with possession of stolen property.
