Massachusetts — The U.S. Marshals Service, District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force (MAFTF), has announced in a statement the arrest of Marco Antonio Cruz Ocamp, 35, wanted for one count of Assault to Murder and one count of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Aymer Rubisel Cruz Ocampo, 30, wanted for one count of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Serious Bodily Injury was also arrested. The warrants were issued in July of 2024 in East Brookfield (Mass) District Court.
“Both subjects were arrested in Stockton, California after Rutland (Mass) Police Department requested assistance from the USMS Fugitive Task Force. The Rutland Police Department worked collaboratively with the USMS Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force and provided investigative information to assist in the capture. The defendants were tracked down in Stockton, California, where they were apprehended by the USMS Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force.
“During the course of the fugitive investigation, it was determined that both fugitives were Mexican nationals residing in the U.S. illegally and were both previously deported from the United States.
