The Turlock Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Turlock. The market features local vendors and businesses offering a variety of products and goods.
There are several vendors and artisans selling a variety of different products, from fresh foods and jams to all natural skincare products. There are even activities for younger kids, including free face-painting booths.
One of the booths that has popped up at the farmers market is Jars of Delicious. They sell jams, jellies, fruit butters, canned fruits and pie fillings.
Janet Hill, a Hughson High student, was manning the Jars of Delicious booth and explained, “I’m a Junior at Hughson High and I’m involved in a lot of agriculture stuff. A lot of our regular customers come out and support and join our fundraisers. They become like a family in a way.”…
