As Stockton prepares to commemorate Veterans Day with special ceremonies and a Memorial Civic Auditorium centennial, multiple restaurants around San Joaquin County are offering discounts and freebies to veterans and active-duty military personnel.
Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx grocery stores are also offering a 10% discount on Veterans Day to active service members, and then a 10% discount at Save Mart and Lucky and a 5% discount at FoodMaxx every following Monday during the month of November, the Modesto-based company said.
