Ceres family pleads for justice after deadly Halloween shooting

(FOX40.COM) — A Ceres family is speaking out after a Halloween night shooting left their loved one dead and two others injured.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the person responsible, and the victim’s family is pleading with the community to come forward with any information that could help solve the case.

Investigators said that just before 12:30 am on Nov. 1, deputies responded to reports of a shooting near A and First Streets in Empire. Two people were found shot, and despite life-saving measures, 32-year-old Juan Loaiza did not survive. A third victim later came to a hospital but is expected to make a full recovery…
