Unauthorized person accessed personal files, information, San Joaquin County Superior Court says

The San Joaquin County Superior Court said an investigation into a cybersecurity incident last year revealed that personal files with sensitive information had been leaked.

On Nov. 7, court officials said the investigation determined that an unauthorized person gained access to some court systems between Oct. 25 and Oct. 30, 2024, and acquired copies of certain files.

The breach involved people’s names, along with Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, California identification card numbers, tax identification numbers, passport numbers, military identification numbers, account numbers or credit and debit card numbers, medical information and health insurance information…
